At the end of the yoga class the instructor said, “aaaaand now, relax your jaw”. And without hesitation my jaw unhinged and I immediately felt a sense of relaxation throughout my face, body and mind.
It was in this moment I realised I was carrying around unnoticed stress or as dentists call it ‘Unconscious Pressure’.

Why am I telling you this?
For years I’ve struggled to fall asleep quickly. I’ll toss and turn for over an hour before finally drifting off.
That was until I started doing this one trick before falling asleep.
Now, every night, I make a conscious effort to relax my jaw relieving all of the tension in my face. I drop my shoulders down and take 4 long, deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth, letting all the stress drain away.
The results have been remarkable.
What once took an hour, now takes just a few minutes.
No cheap gimmicks or app, just a really simple system for releasing all of the built up tension in the face, body and mind.

Relax your jaw, take 4 long, deep breaths in and out, let the tension drain away and before you know it you’re woken by your morning alarm (don’t press snooze) and you’re telling your work mates at the water cooler about your new trick to fall asleep faster than ever!
